Stephen DeAcutis aka{Stevie D}
born in Rahway NJ October 9th,1961. started playing the guitar at the young age of 13.
His feel, touch and note choice are transmitted straight form the heart and soul. He approaches the instrument with a perfect balance of dynamics playing as much or as little is needed for the situation.
Combining technique and sound to paint the appropriate picture that will serve the song.
Stephen's early influences range from Michael Schenker, Uli Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Blackmore and of coarse the list goes on.
For the better part of the last 2 decades Stephen has recorded and or performed with the likes of Bonjovi, Cory Glover, Cindi Lauper, Tony Camillo{Gladys Knight}, Will Lee, Hugh Mcdonald, Joe Lynn Turner and Terry Bozzio to name a few. Some recent recording and touring projects have included Israeli
artist Gad Elbaz, Latin pop rock group Taxi Amirillo Featuring Members of Alexandro Sanz, 90's singing sensation{Dionne Farris}, Sarah Mather[American Idol Finalist}
Stephen's own Project {POD} was signed to Sony in the late 90's that went on to record "Headed For The Zeros" with producer Kevin Shirley and Sony's John Kalodner A&R for Guns and Roses and Aerosmith. Stephen Also worked with Max Norman{Ozzy Osborne} Franky Previtte {Franky And The Knockouts and Dirty Dancing}
His guitar styles run the gam met being well versed from heavy rock to acoustic pop and everything in between approaching all musical endeavors completely from the heart and soul. As a writer Many of Stephen's songs have been featured on MTV productions such as Cribs, My Sweet 16, Punked, TRL and the MTV video awards and Nickelodeon and The Speed Channel as well as The Discovery Channel. Stephen's music can also be heard on The Way's 2005 release "Frequency Of Spirit" Released on Atenzia Records and 1997 release "Matter Of Time" Released on Escape Music LMT.
Stephen's guitar work can also be heard on Escape recording artist Intruder which featured song's from Bonjovi co-writer George Karak. Stephen continues to write, record,perform and produce his own projects and serving the needs of the most talented musicians this world has to offer.

Stephen has spent countless hours in the studio Producing,mixing and playing guitar on many recordings as well as having the pleasure of recording many great guitar players to name a few
Elliot Randall, Mike Ciro, Paul Pesco, Kenny Dubman, and Dave Dipetro.
Of all the skills that Stephen DeAcutis possess his most passion 1st and foremost lies in what he started out doing as a youngster and that is plugging his guitar be it a Paul, Tele or strat and performing with great musicians in front of an audience full of people who love guitar oriented music.
