Stephen started Sound Spa Productions in the early 1980’s.
25 years plus experience as a musician, producer, writer, recording and mix engineer.
Stevie D honed his skills working with the likes of Max Norman (Blizzard of Oz}
Kevin Shirley {Led Zep} Tony Camillo (Gladys Knight} Corey Glover {Living Colour}
Dave Domanich {Lenny Kravitz} just to name a few.
He has worked at all industry levels and is experienced with most genres.
He has done work with Sony, Interscope, Artsta {Laface}, Miramax, Columbia, capital etc.
MTV, The Speed Channel, ESPN, Discovery etc.
Stevie D’s own band POD was signed to Sony in the late 90’s and completed a full cd with legendary A&R guru John Kalodner and producer/engineer Kevin Shirley.

As a Mix engineer Steve’s knows when the chorus isn’t lifting enough and can quickly add the element needed to bring it to its full potential. As a producer he knows just what the track needs at any given moment to keep the listener’s interest form the 1st note to the last.
A talented artist and musician in his own right, Stevie D has musical intuitiveness that reaches deeply to the heart of all styles of music giving him the ability to bring out the best qualities of each artist and situation he encounters. His goal is to serve the music at hand and doing what is best fit for each artist’s vision and brings that to realization.
